Marion Obam wins Cameroon Journalists Trade Union Top Job.
By Ruth Che Wachong Marion Obam is the new National President of the Cameroon Journalists Trade Union (CJTU). This was the outcome of an Elective Congress that held in Douala June 26th 2022. Marion Obam National President CJTU The Elective Assembly that brought together CJTU delegates from all ten Regions of Cameroon, held in the country's Economic Capital Douala under the slogan "the Union, Offensive for a Credible Press". CJTU Delegates at the Elective Congress Out of a total number of one hundred and eight (108) votes casted during the exercise, Marion Obam emerged winner with 54 votes, followed by Aristide Ekambi with 32 and Nathaniel Njog with 22 votes.
