Contraceptive Use & Effects: Testimonies from Bamenda based Women! By Ruth Che Wachong Family planning is the consideration of the number of children a person wishes to have, including the choice to have no children, and the age at which they wish to have them.  Family planning decisions are mostly triggered by the following considerations; marital status, career or work considerations, financial situations, amongst others. Contraceptive methods commonly used in Cameroon are; oral contraceptives,  injectable methods and condoms. This report seeks to exploit the effect of these contraceptives on women who use them around Bamenda, Cameroon. ​ North West Governor visits MIDENO/MINTP road works in Awing, Scores Realization at 80%   By Ruth Che Wachong   The Governor of the North West Region recently paid an assessment visit to the ongoing road works in Awing. Jointly executed by The North West Development Authority (MIDENO) and the Ministry of Public Works (MINTP), with field coordination by Ndong Awing Cultural and Development Association (NACDA) ,the 41. 7Km road project linking Akum, Awing, Bamunyam and Ngalia is a project that is expected to pave way for other development projects in the Awing community.   While touring the 41.7km road, Adolphe Lele LAfrique called on the Awing people to be the light, and work towards  bringing lasting peace in the community. “ I would like to thank on behalf of Government, the Awing population for creating a conducive environment for the realization of this project.
