​PCC Moderator Inaugurates Multifunctional Presbyterian Health Complex Acha, Bamenda, lays foundation stone for the structure.

The Moderator of the Presbyterian church in Cameroon (PCC) Rt Rev Fonki Samuel on saturday April 23rd 2022 presided at the inauguration and laying of foundation stone of the Presbyterian Health Complex Acha Bamenda. 


In his sermon, Rt Rev Fonki Samuel said the health facility was constructed to aid vulnerable people especially IDPs within the Region and beyond. 

"It is our contribution to remedy the health o our people. Health care provision should be affordable to both poor and rich" PCC Moderator reiterates

 "It is our wish that this health facility be rapidly upgraded to a fullfleched hospital so as to carryout better health care services" Director of the Bamenda Regional hospital, Dr Nsame Denis says.

The Canadian High Commissioner to Cameroon Richard Bale during the event acknowledged and appreciated the tremendous efforts by the entire PCC and staff of the hospital to ensure that the project comes to fruition. He pledged his unflinching support to the church and the health sector in particular.

Mayor Chenwi Peter of Bamenda ll Council expressed his satisfaction for the project and pledged to foot bills of first 100 patients to consult at the health facility, to the tune of 1 million francs CFA.

The Rt Rev Moderator encouraged the Northwest population to make use of the affordable health services provided by the PCC. To ensure that all patients are treated as Kings and Queens by staff, the church donated a car gift to the health center that will facilitate movement of health personnel and transportation of patients especially in the event of an emergency.

 The event also witnessed the distribution of basic items to selected Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) by the Mezam Presbytery.
